I have added just a few of the commissions I have been working on this past year to the site. I have been very fortunate and had some wonderful and interesting projects and look forward to creating new projects this year.
I have also been working on photographic projects and creating new art works which I hope to begin creating cards and prints. Watch out for this soon in the photographic section of this web site.

I am a Garden Designer working in the Yorkshire area. I have worked as a gardener for over 35 years. This experience makes me more than a paper designer. A good knowledge of horticulture, attention to detail and the ability to visualise all cumulate to create a beautiful space.
The most important part of designing is the understanding of the clients practical requirements and dreams even if initially they do not know what they are. I also have a good team of landscapers and other artists who I work closely with to give a full service of requirements.

- An opportunity to establish and record the clients' requirements.
- The Site Survey
- A scaled plan of the existing garden.
- Construction Details
- A detailed plan for the builder.
- Concept and Sketch Design
- A working drawing of shapes ie. paths, planting, beds and initial ideas.
- Plant Identification
- After discussion with the client, a working drawing planting plan of suitable plants is added to the sketch design.
- Master Plan
- A detailed plan showing all hard and soft landscaping in ink or full colour with instructions on plant care.
